JASENKA OSTOJIĆ RADIKOVIĆ, CONDUCTOR

 

SHORT BIOGRAPHY

 

Jasenka Ostojić Radiković received her degree in conducting in 1993, and a post-graduate specialization in conducting in 1994 at The Music Academy in Zagreb in the class of Prof. Pavle Dešpalj. In 1994 she became the stipendist of Lovro & Lillz Matačić Foundation. Ms Ostojić Radiković has been the conductor of the Zagreb Boys’ Choir since 1994. In 1997 she became the artistic leader and associate conductor of The Zagreb Youth Chamber Orchestra (ZOKOR). She attended Masters course for conductors that was held in Hvar in class of prof. Ronald Zollman.

With the Girls Choir of the Music School Pavao Markovac, she won 1st prize at the competition in Rijeka in 1998, and the gold medal and cash award at the Music Ceremonies of Croatian Youth in Varaždin in 1996, 1997 & 1999.

With the Zagreb Boys’ Choir she won the gold medal at the Music Ceremonies of Croatian Youth in Varaždin in 1996, 1997, 1998 &1999 and  the Ivan Lukačić prize at Varaždin Baroque Evenings in 1999.

In 2006. she founded girls choir ''Zinka''.

Since September 2000, she is a senior lecturer at the Zagreb University Academy of Music where she conducts Music Academy Choir as well.
